Getting to NYC

GETTING HERE

If you’re flying to New York City, the most convenient airports are LaGuardia (LGA) and John F. Kennedy International (JFK). LGA is typically about a 25 minute drive to Williamsburg (Brooklyn) or neighborhoods on Manhattan’s east side, while JFK is approximately 45 minutes away in light traffic.

Please note that these travel times are estimates based on low traffic volumes and may vary significantly depending on the time of day and traffic patterns.

GETTING AROUND NYC

Taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc. are readily available.

From the airport: Taxi is king. For a seamless arrival into Manhattan, a taxi is often faster and generally more economical than Uber/Lyft. If taking taxi, head to the officially marked taxi stands, don't entertain random offers.

MTA Subway or Bus ($2.90): Seriously! Save those dollars for $22 (or more?) cocktails and shopping. Download Citymapper or use the transit directions on Apple/Google Maps are your absolute BFFs, they'll tell you exactly which entrance to use, what direction to go, and where to switch.

While these hotels are great options, NYC offers no shortage of amazing hotels! We do recommend staying in Williamsburg or downtown Manhattan (below 23rd Street) for convenience to wedding events (and because, in our opinion, these are the best neighborhoods in NYC anyway).

September is the busiest travel month to NYC. Hotels will fill up! If you have questions about travel, accommodations, or NYC neighborhoods reach out to us - we're happy to help.

Check out the map below that shows our welcome party location (purple bubble), wedding venue (pink bubble), and hotel blocks (green bubbles), All of these locations are located conveniently off the L train as well as easily accessible via Uber/Lyft/taxi.
